Short exposure to extreme cold
Cryotherapy Device
Cryotherapy is exposure of the body to very low temperatures. Originally discovered by the Japanese in 1978 for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, the technology was later refined in Poland and Russia and now exists in the United States.
A whole body session lasts only two to three minutes. The rapid cooling of the skin triggers a strong circulatory and nervous system response as the body rewarms.
We supply whole body and localised units, with the gas handling and safety equipment each requires.
